Mukh Mantri Mawan Dhiyan (Dheeyan) Satkar Yojana is a
Punjab Government women’s welfare scheme launched in 2026 to provide monthly
financial assistance directly to eligible women’s bank accounts.
Benefits
- Women
from the General Category: ₹1,000 per month
- Women
from the Scheduled Caste (SC) category: ₹1,500 per month
- Payment
is made through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) into the
beneficiary's bank account.
Eligibility
Generally, a woman must:
- Be 18
years or older
- Be a resident/domicile
of Punjab
- Have
Aadhaar and a bank account for DBT payments
- Existing
old-age, widow, or disability pension beneficiaries can also receive this
benefit.
Who is Not Eligible?
The scheme excludes:
- Current
or retired government employees
- Present
or former MPs/MLAs
- Income-tax
payers
- Certain
other specified public office holders and their spouses.
Registration
Registration is being carried out through:
- Sewa
Kendras
- Anganwadi
Centres
- Municipal
offices and other designated registration centres across Punjab.
When Will Payments Start?
Punjab Government has announced that payments are expected
to begin from July 2026 after registration and verification.
