At the age of 36, three-time WWE World Champion Bray Wyatt went dead.
His family described the wrestler's death as abrupt, despite the fact that he had been out of the ring since February due to an unknown health problem.WWE Content Officer Triple H made the announcement on social media, writing that Wyatt, real name Windham Rotunda, "has passed away unexpectedly."

Wyatt was descended from a line of wrestlers that included his father Mike Rotunda, his grandfather Blackjack Mulligan, and his younger brother Bo Dallas.The IRS was aware of Rotunda because of his persona as a Washington, DC, tax collector who tormented wrestlers and fans as "tax cheaters." Rotunda was a great wrestler in his own way.
Wyatt was a state wrestling champion in high school and received a football scholarship to Troy University. He was born on May 23, 1987, in Brooksville, Florida.He began his professional career as a wrestler in 2009, albeit he abandoned his degree before completing it.He competed as Husky Harris, Alex Rotunda, Duke Rotundo, and The Fiend, among other aliases.
He co-starred as Bray Wyatt with the late Luke Harper (also known as Brody Lee), Braun Strowman, and Erick Rowan in a cult faction known as The Wyatt Family.He made a long-awaited comeback in October at the pay-per-view Extreme Rules event after leaving WWE in 2021 and introducing a new iteration of his persona.He had lately been absent from WWE for several months due to sickness, but before his passing, he was just about to join again, according to Wrestling News.
When describing how Wyatt overcame his mental health issues last year, he said: "I lost my job. I stopped being confident. Two persons who were really close to me passed away. I got lost.
"And I came to the conclusion that whatever I had done, whether it be here or elsewhere, had no purpose. Nothing I've done has changed anything for anyone. And I was mistaken.I decided to get out and explore the world again after I stopped feeling sorry for myself, he said. People who used to say "Thanks" everywhere
Triple H, whose true name is Paul Levesque, said that his father had told him about Rotunda's passing.In his post, he stated, "Just got a call from WWE Hall of Famer Mike Rotunda, who informed us of the tragic news that a longstanding member of our WWE family, Windham Rotunda - better known as Bray Wyatt - died suddenly unexpectedly today.
"Our thoughts are with his family, and we ask that everyone respect their right to privacy at this time."Later, according to wrestling writer Sean Ross Sapp, the 36-year-old athlete passed away from a heart attack that was aggravated by pre-existing cardiac issues after being identified as having COVID.
He said, "There has been a lot of good progress toward his return and recuperation. "Unfortunately he had a heart attack today and passed away."Jossen Offerman, a former WWE ring announcer who is engaged to Wyatt, their two children, Wyatt's two children from a previous marriage, Bo Dallas (Taylor Rotunda), and Mika are all left behind.
