Breaking News: Amazing Precautionary Landing of Trichy-Sharjah Air India Express Flight

On Monday, Air India Express aircraft IX 613, carrying 160 passengers, made an emergency landing at Thiruvananthapuram International Airport. The aircraft had mechanical problems shortly after departure from Tiruchirappalli, prompting the decision to reroute it to Thiruvananthapuram airport.

The airport authorities declared a full emergency at the international airport in reaction to the circumstances. However, Air India Express stated that the landing was a precautionary one, not an emergency one.

"Due to technical issues after takeoff, the decision was made to divert the flight." "The airline confirms that it was not an emergency landing," said Air India Express in a statement.

Flight IX 613, with 154 passengers and six crew members, had taken off from Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, about 10:45 a.m. and was en route to its destination.

An Air India spokeswoman confirmed that the plane successfully landed in Thiruvananthapuram at 12:01 p.m.

Another incident occurred when Air India Express aircraft IX 573, destined for Bahrain from Thiruvananthapuram, had mechanical difficulties and took off at 11:06 a.m.
